Towards Anti-Racism across the Curriculum Session Three: Learning from the Arts

How do we, as educators, work to decolonize creative thinking, the creative process, and our own curricula? As we approach finals and the season for creative feedback and artistic critiques, we invite all educators to join us for a facilitated conversation to share anti-racist practices and ideas for decolonizing the creative classroom, with a particular focus on how we give feedback to students.

While our conversations will be more centered on the Arts division, we encourage faculty outside of the Arts division to converse, listen, and learn alongside us. Hors d’oeuvres will be served!

Please note: This is the third event in an ongoing commitment from MCTL to enhance the visibility of anti-racist, inclusive practices on our campus. Prior events focused on STEM, and future MCTL events will highlight developments in the social sciences and the humanities.
